Web Chats and Virtual Book Club

VSA's Web Chats and Virtual Book Club are an easy way to expand you visitor studies skills and explore new topics. These online meetings have a specific topic but no set agenda, so participants are free to discuss the things that are relevant to them. The focus is on group sharing and learning. Recordings of many of these events are also available through our YouTube channel here.

If you have questions about the Web Chats/Book Club or would like to suggest a topic for our next discussion, please email one of our Professional Development work Group members:

VSA's next Book Club will take place December 17, 2018 at 12pm ET. We will be discussing the article "Boosting Metacognition in Science Museums: Simple Exhibit Label Designs to Enhance Learning", by Joshua P. Gutwill and Toni Dancstep. You can download the article here. Please join us by registering for the Book Club here.
